There are many places where you can register your own domain. Some of the best are Dotster and GoDaddy. You should never pay more than $15.00 per year for your domain. There are three major domain name extensions available to average citizens. These are .com, .net, and .org. Most people opt for the .com domain extension. If you are a non-profit orginazation however, you might want to go for the .org extension. There are millions and millions of domain names already registered so don't be discouraged if what you want is already taken, as it most likely will be.
