An HTML form is a special element made up of controls such as radio buttons, menus, and checkboxes. Users insert their information into the forms by using the controls. They then submit the form for processing by the web or email server.
Forms are perfect for passing information between webpages and between webmasters and visitors. Forms are often used for processing online orders. A form is created with the <form> tag. It's attributes include the "action" attribute which defines the page that will process the form data. Another form attribute is the "method" attribute which can be either "post" or "get". The latter posts the form data to a query string, the former sends the data to the server.
